When I began writing this post, I was going to share my views about how increadible it is to be able to create + present All Saints Radio each week for the past three years. The challenges, the hours of preparation, the Bla Bla Bla…
The realization I’ve arrived at is that the best I can do is to offer my deepest, most heartfelt gratitude to each of you who have been a BIG part of making ASR the growing success that it is…
In these times of being famous for being famous, worth based on social media likes and follows, not to mention the over arching reach of the cult of personality, it makes my heart so BIG to hear many of you love the show beacuse you connect with our passion for others. Because the whole point of ASR is telling the story of Christ in our lives as told by YOU.
I really don’t care about being famous. What I DO care about is creating a space for anyone who needs a minute to honestly be encouraged and reminded that your life matters. I’m pursing a legacy of Christ filled influence in the lives of the listeners I present ASR to each week and via www.FAITH2K.COM. Each of us carries the power to bless another as we realize the blessing we carry within. I cannot do any bigger or better thing than to share the Good News in a way that activates the promise of hope we posess in our hearts…money, power and fame fade but one Act Of Random Kindness to someone who can’t repay you is ETERNAL.
I have been asked many times when I knew I was going to be successful in this life. My answer used to be “I knew I was going to be successful when I started…” after some much needed reflection, my answer these days is, “ I can ONLY be successful when God Almighty places His hand on my life. Then and ONLY then will I truly be a success.”
Three years. With SO much more to do and give. I’m proud of all we have accomplished as a passionate, tight knit community and I will continue to shine the spotlight on your favorite artists, community activists and people of faith. It is both my vision + my mission.
In season 4 of All Saints Radio w Derriqmaq, I’m looking forward to sharing brand new stories of hope, faith based information that makes us better for knowing it and as always, the soundtrack to our lives in Christ!
I can’t help but smile when I think about what an amazing year ASR has enjoyed with you and how exciting it is to move forward into 2018 with new features, new LIVE events including new stories of people who have come to know a more excellent way of life in Christ! Who else is ALL IN!
All Saints Radio w Derriqmaq. It’s #MusicWithAHigherCalling.
