Rep the Vote believes we need a massive cultural shift in the way people – specifically young people – think about voting. We need to create a culture of voting, a culture of defending the right to vote. That’s why we believe partnering with artists, musicians, actors, and technology companies is key to engaging with young people, driving a greater amount of them to the polls and using their inner voice to incite change.
We cannot afford to have young people sit out of the political process when so much is at stake for their future. Millennials are over 80 million strong and growing. With that mass, we represent a voting block that can and does swing elections. The youth vote is a huge force for social change. We are passionate about the issues and we give our time to causes we care about and issues that inspire us.
Rep the Vote is a nonpartisan organization. We don’t care what party or candidate you support. We care that you vote and participate in the process. To make sure that’s possible we defend voting rights and work to increase opportunities for you to vote.
