Mama Ria. Stay In Your Lane.

Would you take a moment to imagine the look on your face if you witnessed a college professor showing up in a kindergarten class ranting and raving to the students about lessons taught in college as well as  judging the kindergarten teacher? Exactly.

This can cause the teacher to doubt their ability to run this class in a way that is effective. The teacher has established a relationship with each student and knows how they learn individually. The teacher knows what makes them thrive and how to talk to them and love on them. How quickly do you think there would be a room full of little people not so happy? Sooner than later fear, doubt, and disinterest would break out like a plague. Not to mention at some point and empty room with an upset kindergarten teacher.

We were all sent with a specific purpose. The Lord has given us gifts and created us with a special personality to go forth with the great commission (Matthew 28:16-20).

This world is full of diversity and being as our Father in heaven saw fit to create it that way then diversity is in His will. Therefore, everyone is different. People learn differently and are in different places in their journey with the Lord. Seems simple……right?

Unfortunately, not so simple, as we have more than enough people who refuse to stay in their lane and want to cross over into someone else’s lane causing  a major accident. We all know that in an accident some come out ok but the vehicle is destroyed, others are seriously injured and it will take some time to recover if they recover completely and then there are those that perish.I’m glad you asked me to break that down!

If you are in an advanced state in your relationship with Jesus in a manner in which it works for you and Him and you come across a younger generation that are somewhat babies in Christ and are hungry and you cross over without even a blinker on and begin to tell them everything they can’t do and what they are doing is wrong and how it’s the devil and they’re going to hell….then you have just caused a major accident.

Sometimes it’s not what you say but how you say it and then sometimes it’s what you say AND how you say it. It can cause church hurt and the relationship with the church is destroyed but they walk away somewhat shook up but ok. Some of them are badly injured and it will take some time for them to recover. Then you have the ones who will perish because it caused so much injury that they walk away not just from the church but from their faith and Jesus because of misrepresentation. Those will go out into the world and give themselves away to it and never return.  Ladies and gentlemen, someone was assigned to them kids with the proper personality and being one with  the Holy Spirit to minister to them.  Am I saying that you should just allow the kids to just run wild and condone ungodly behavior? Absolutely not. What I am saying is….Stay in your lane.

Ephesians 4:16New Living Translation (NLT)

16 He makes the whole body fit together perfectly. As each part does its own special work, it helps the other parts grow, so that the whole body is healthy and growing and full of love.
