Plant With Purpose works at the intersection of faith and the environment. The overlap of those areas is unfamiliar in many contexts, but for other believers worldwide, the care of creation is deeply intertwined with the worship of its Creator.

For centuries, churches across Ethiopia have been so dedicated to preserving the biodiversity around their places of worship that they stand out in stark contrast to the surrounding degraded areas.

We have learned so much from our Ethiopian partners about approaching environmental stewardship as a spiritual discipline, and we are proud to partner with churches to amplify their environmental efforts.
